Sometimes unplanned trips are full of pleasure and learning processes, and you witness new things and meet new people. Such a journey is always great. I was on a weekend trip to my in-laws home. It was a day long trip, and I was to return at evening. Parab was to come enroute, so I thought of attending its Aarti. Little did I know that I could meet Karshandas Bapu personally and have some conversation with him.

Personally, I don’t bow down in front of every saint. I rather try to evoke some conversation with them, and then if my subconscious is satisfied, I don’t even wait a second to show my respect. Meeting Karshandas Bapu was such an experience. I was literary stunned by various societal services he is engaged with.
Of course, everyday hundreds and thousands of people can enjoy free lunch, dinner and tea at Parab, which is only possible on the land of Kathiyawad. You will no where else find such ‘Annakshetras‘ where food is provided for free 365 days a year to unlimited people.
I passed on my visiting card through his body guard Mr. Goswami who had a nice piece of machine gun hanging on his shoulder. Bapu was in a meeting of planning and strategies for the upcoming festival of Ashadhi Bij. On this day, around 20 to 25 lacks of people come to Parab from all around the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq and Europe. So you can understand the kind of planing required to handle such a big population.
I spent almost 10 minutes with Bapu, and felt he is a man with broad and future vision.
