Interview

Q: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?

  • I created my first blog called Ye Hai Meri Kahani (rohitkhurana.blogspot.com) when I was in college. I did not know the real meaning of blogging at that time. I started my first technology blog called Trouble Fixers (www.troublefixers.com) with Abhishek Bhatnagar who is my school friend. He told me what blogging is all about and inspired me towards my first steps to blogging. Me and Abhishek co-founded Trouble Fixers in November 2007 and I never looked back after that.
  • The motive behind creating Trouble Fixers (a computer troubleshooting blog) was very straight forward – To share the knowledge about computer troubleshooting that we have gained over years. I had also been inspired when I saw Abhishek’s blog Technix Update (www.technixupdate.com), that he was already running. Also I met Amit Agarwal (from www.labnol.org ) over a small meet-up at Ansal Plaza Delhi; that meeting with Amit also inspired me towards blogging.

Q: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?

I have a deep insight and love for car technologies because I had been a part of the Formula Student 2005 team of the Defianz Racing Team [http://dce.ac.in/research/projects/defianz/gal2k5.htm ] of Delhi College of Engineer and we built a race car to compete in Formula Student Competition.
