Having watched Bradley Cooper in films like Hangover, Hangover Part II, Limitless, The A-Team & He’s Just That Not Into You, it never inspired me to think that one day he would get nominated for an Oscar, for an actor in leading role. Well, he has proved me wrong with his new flick Silver Linings Playbook(2012).

Unfortunately, I am yet to watch this flick. But it’s promo on Youtube is quite promising. Of course, it has to be. It has got nominated for 8 Oscars this year (2013) under categories like,

1. Best Achievement in Directing (David O. Russell)
2. Best Achievement in Editing (Jay Cassidy, Crispin Struthers)
3. Best Motion Picture of the Year(Donna Gigliotti, Bruce Cohen, Jonathan Gordon)
4. Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role (Bradley Cooper)
5. Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Robert De Niro)
6. Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role (Jennifer Lawrence)
7. Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (Jacki Weaver)
8. Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published (David O. Russell).
