Don’t see any such caption which can win the prize, so unfortunately, competition number:5 remains without the winner.

Is the photo real hard to caption?

Devang,

Agreed that captions in this competition were not very creative or impressive. However, it will be unfair to the participants to not announce a winner. Remember sometimes we have cricket matches with no special performance by any player, yet there has to be a man of the match. If there is a competition, there has to be a winner even if the competition itself is not up to its standard (unless a competition was halted or called off prior to its completion).

Winner is someone who does BEST within the group of participants who may, may not fit into our PERCEPTION of what’s best.

Having said that, you are a judge/owner/organizer of the competition, thus have freedom to make any decision you want.

Thanks

So, finally, here is the result. It goes for the best of available captions. The winning caption is quite common but it depicts the situation quite nicely.

P.S.: Jigar / Rajesh,

It’s not about GIFT, but some tough titles should be there. But then, keeping your point of view in mind, now shall for sure declare the winner, even though there are only three captions :)
