There is a good news for the sportsmen of Gujarat. Sports Authority of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is organizing a state level sports competitions for various sports such as athletic, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, skating, volleyball, kusti, badminton, chess, hockey, archery, judo, table-tennis, basketball, swimming and Yogasan.
This will start from November 20, 2010 and last till December 15, 2010. To register your names, you can contact revenue officer at taluka, taluka development officer, district sports officer or the sports authority of Gujarat state directly.
Below 16 years and above 16 years are the two age criteria to participate in the games. To download the application forms do click this link.
The district level winners will be accorded cash prizes of Rs. 5000,3000,2000 respectively for first, second and third position (little variation in cash prize in few sports.) Where as state level winners will be accorded cash prizes of Rs. 10000,7000,5000 respectively for first, second and third position (also there are different cash prizes for coach/manager.)

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s speech at Khel Mahakumbh – 2010 desired to make the entire state a big sports ground and every Gujarati an ace sportsperson.
Addressing 5,000 physical instructors training camp at the Tridev Mandir complex at Adalaj near here, he said that participation in sports inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and leadership qualities in every youth, necessary in every walk of life.

There is no schedule for the State level competition. It’s already 7th December and from 8th onwards the State level competition is to start.
I played volleyball with the Baroda team and we came third. Since I was unwell on 15/12/10, I couldn’t attend the prize distribution ceremony. I received my certificate, cheque and tracksuit. But still have not received my medal. I have talked to all the concerned officials but without any response. What am I supposed to do? My certificate number is 1453 and cheque no. is 921587. Please guide as to what I should do.

Khelmahakumbh is a very good venture by gujrat govt,but would like to bring to your notice about the behaviour of some of the district sports authoroties in navsari,they rejected some forms and are doing partiality by giving a chance to their dear ones.i hope sir that you will take strict actions against them.

medal in khelmahakumbh in 2012 . i recieved my gold medal , certificate and track suite .

If somebody has not register on line for participation in Khel Mahakhumb, than how to participate, as a sport lover we would like to participate. Pls show us the way , now how to participate. Hope so some ways & means will be available. As lot of sport lover , who want to participate, but they fails to register on line.
The ONLINE registration for khelmahakumbh 2014 is resumed. The registration of my SON’s participation in BADMINTON (INDIVIDUAL) game is done from Gram Panchayat office, Adalaj.
Now, afterward a message is received from the site to provide BANK ID OR A/c.NO of player.
Gram panchayat office, which upload registration form have NO right to EDIT / ADD details
