ICC World Twenty20, 2009 schedule

ICC World Twenty20, 2009 schedule has been announced. This time, fight between various teams is going to be real tough. Every team has new faces this year. Defending Champions India has recently crushed Sri Lanka in a T20 match at home, proving once again their momentum and hold on Twenty20 matches. While South Africa too snatched away first rank from Australia in ICC rankings. Australia at the moment is going through a struggling phase. Having Matthew Hayden, Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne retired, Australia will really have to fight back with new faces in the squad. Shaun Marsh performed marvellously in IPL 2008 season playing from Kings XI Punjab team winning Man of the Series title. So all eyes would be upon him too.

Other players to watch out this season are Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff, Yusuf Pathan, Gibbs, Brendon_McCullum, Haddin, Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gale, and Salman Butt.

Before you read schedule, watch this video of last T20 season where Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixes in six balls of Stuart Broad of England.

Let’s hope, we will have such more spectacular matches this season.

definitely sri lanka and south africa are going to be in finals of this years twenty20 world cup in england and sri lanka will win the finals for sure because of the experience in bowling and batting.sri lanka has a very good balance batting order and stong varried bowling attack too.
