Visit to Sarvoday Upvan

Sarvoday Upvan

The Powner of Nature is Infinite. To feel it, one must spend some time with its blissful existence. Such an opportunity arrived at me in form of Bharatbhai Gajipara‘s invitation to visit ‘Saroday Upvan‘ which he has created with total passion and vision.

What an idle farm should be consisting of? Well, cows, seasonal crops, well, surrounding trees, river flowing by, birds singing around, cows, smell of wet soil, medicinal plants, organic farming, fruitful trees, rural atmosphere, homely welcome, fresh milk and all that you can think of as a part of nature. I experienced all of these as well many other such blissful existences. I wasn’t just happy being there but felt really blessed.

At Sarvoday Upvan

Objective of visit was to discuss about childhood memories of Bharatbhai Gajipara in a natural atmosphere, as a part of my second book which will cover the Childhood incidents of different people. It started with a visit to entire farm, starting with feeling the love of Gir-cows, who on the spot recognized Bharatbhai’s voice. Truly, the way animals react to our love has no words to express. Like Osho has said that when you love someone so much, you don’t love someone but rather you become love itself. Such was the experience with Gir cows like Gauri, who upon hearing her name from Bharatbhai, ran right away towards him.

Sarvoday Upvan

‘Sarvoday Upvan’ consists of various medicinal plants, seasonal crops such as groundnuts, fruit trees, flower plants, organic farming, rural huts, swimming pool, play-rides for children and much more. Actually, at Sarvoday Upvan, students of Sarvoday Educational Network which is run by Bharatbhai Gajipara do come as a part of their school picnic. Here they learn about nature by physically being there, coming out of the mere textual explanations.
