Q1: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?

A1: Thanks for getting me on-board!

I have been blogging since almost 2 years now.  Yes I had a motive to start and also an inspiration. The motive being to help save money by sharing discounts, offers and such thing online!

Q2: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?

A2:  My blog freeGyaan, as the name suggest it is all about providing Gyaan about everything which has a free tag to it. I share discount coupons, vouchers and off late I have started contacting stores to get exclusive discount vouchers for my blog readers!

Q3: What are the present statistics for your blog, i.e. number of daily visitors, visitors geographical status etc.?

A3:  The present statistics is not enough for me. I get around 250 clicks a day and it is mainly from INDIA.

Q4: Is blogging for you just a passion or a medium for earning too? Does it help you to earn enough cash to quit a 9 to 5 day job?

A4:  No. Blogging is not an earning opportunity for me. I do get some amount from it but I started this to help guys save something.

Q5: Who are your favorite bloggers, whom you read frequently?

A5: I have a list of bloggers whom I refer for free stuff. There are many so, it would be unfair to point out few.

Q6: From the secret bucket of your blogging experiences, what tips you would like to share with the fellow bloggers?

A6:  Well, I am still at a learning stage and I do not have any bucket of secret as such. But will surely let the new bloggers know that this is an addictive thing. And if you start you better not look back.

Q7: Do you believe that blogging completes you? If yes, tell us how?

A7:  Blogging is just a part of hobby. So, I do not consider it to part of me.

Q8: What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?

A8: In terms of Blogging is that, when I got incredible responses to my few post. Also when I received an email from an unknown guy who agreed to pay me for blogging about his site (Wondered if I was really popular then!)

Q9: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?

A9: For sure I would like to take my buddies along; traveling alone is not on my list.

Three World destinations – Let me think, well firstly I would like to go to Himalayas first or to be specific Mt. Everest or K2 for the matter.

Then, can think of Dubai – Reason being, it is the only country I have been hearing that has improved from a scratch to one of the biggest and most luxuries place in the world.

Then, can not think of other specific place, so will go for not a specific destinations, but a Duniya Darshan!

Q10: Are you into watching movies? If yes, which fills your list of favorite ones?

A10:  Yes, I do watch movies, but quite a few. I am more into realistic movies rather than those commercial flicks. I love to see movies such as RDB, Nayak, and the list goes on to those patriotic flicks on Bhagat Singh and such stuff. Or even movies which have some sense in them. But, yes on a lighter part surely can watch Munnabhai or Golmal or Hera Pheri any no. of times.

Q11: How has blogging helped you other than money?

A11:  As, stated above I did not start blog to earn money basically. Blogging has helped me get recognized. I fell happy when I get those mails which say – “Thanks for sharing this, I helped me save something!”

Q12: What would be the one thing you’d change about yourself?

A12: My mind. I am really badly addicted to net but I want to if not quit, limit it for my studies.

Q13: What is your deepest fear?

A13: Fear of loneliness, I want someone to be with me always whom I can share with!
