Anna Kay

Anna Kay

Well, people know me as Anna Kay. I am 19 years old – I was born in Elizabeth, NJ – I grew up in Mountainside, NJ and I now reside in Stanhope, NJ. I am a psychology major sophomore at FairleighDickinsonUniversity on the Florham Campus and I absolutely love it. I hope to work with kids in the future perhaps pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor – however I cannot wait to find my other half and raise a family of my own.

I started blogging in January of 2009,  I had a lot of things on my mind which I needed to let out – I told no one about it, however in June – someone discovered I blogged – and I panicked, and deleted all of my entries. A few months ago I decided I had more things to say – and this time, I told friends and family about my blog!

Find me at www.missannakay.wordpress.com ; I update frequently and I write about what I do – what I like – it’s all about moi. Feel free to take a peak  make sure to say hello!

Interview

Q1: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?

  • A1: January 2009 ; it was during winter break – I had a month off from school, I missed my friends and couldn’t tell anyone the things which were on my mind – I turned to wordpress 🙂

Q2: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?

  • A2: I try and write a lot of what I feel; however music is a big part of my life – so when I like something, I post about it just to let my readers in on things I enjoy – I do run it by myself ;]

Q3: What are the present statistics for your blog, i.e. number of daily visitors, visitors geographical status etc.?

  • A3: hmmm with stats ; I believe the number of total viewers is well over 2,500 – I think that the most I have had in a day was a little below 200 ; and the least was probably zero – this was when I went MIA.

Q4: Is blogging for you just a passion or a medium for earning too? Does it help you to earn enough cash to quit a 9 to 5 day job?

  • A4: oh definitely just a passion; it relaxes me to the fullest; I get to rant about life and no one can complain about it – I don’t make any money off of it.

Q5: Who are your favorite bloggers, whom you read frequently?

  • A5: hum I actually have a few – I really like these blogs; so check them out!

Q7: Do you believe that blogging completes you? If yes, tell us how?

  • A7: of course, it’s the part of me that lets me be completely honest – no lying here. When I’m worried about something, I blog about it for comfort – when I’m happy about something, I want to share these feelings with my friends.

Q8: What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?

  • A8: the happiest moment in my life was probably when my little baby brother was born – that may be weird, however he’s my whole heart – my gloomiest moment – well I’m not sure, I haven’t had anything gloomier happen to me then my grandparents passing away – I guess that would be it.

Q9: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?

  • A9: If I were to go anywhere in the world – I would love to travel Africa, all over – I must visit Greece – and I think the third would have to be Ireland!

Q10: Are you into watching movies? If yes, which fills your list of favorite ones?

  • A10: yeees, I love comedies – Will Ferrell is the man. I also love chick flicks – no lie, Gerard Butler is my husband – hahaah and I do like horror movies – but I have to be in the mood to watch them – I don’t have any favorites – oh ; and I don’t like sci-fi ;]

Q11: How has blogging helped you other than money?

  • A11: .. it hasn’t helped me with money – it helps me get my thoughts out of my head.

  • A16: like 80bucks.

Q17: What is your favorite food? Any particular dislikes?

  • A17: I like it all – except for blue cheese – it smells.

Q18: What’s your take on the technological advancement these days? Does it make people’s life simple or complicated?

  • A18: so much more complicated- as much as I love it, I hate it.

Q19: What do you think of “blogging is the next BIG thing”?

  • A19: …I agree – I feel like it’s the only place people feel comfortable enough spilling their guts out – without caring whether or not others will judge them for their thought.

Q20: List out the 10 bloggers you believe should be interviewed by Speakbindas.com.
