Interview: S. Pradeep Kumar of HellBound Bloggers

I chat with girls a lot online,
but in person, I feel shy to talk with them!

About:

My name is S. Pradeep Kumar. I’m the owner of HellBound Bloggers – http://www.hellboundbloggers.com/. I love to create an organization, so this domain matches it, but a little bit devilish. Ha ha. After 2 years I would be a graduate in Computer Science Engineering. I want to become the craziest blogger in the world. So I invite fellow blogger friends to become a part of my initiative.

Interview

Q1: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?

A1:  Thanks for this gorgeous interview. I created my first blog just to impress others, but later it became my passion and soul. So this was the backbone of it. Like teachers getting more knowledge by teaching, bloggers also get more knowledge by blogging. I created my blog when I was around 16-17 years old.

Q2: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?

A2: HellBound Bloggers is a technical blog, though the name sounds different. Topics mainly focus on Tech News, Blogging Tips, Tutorials, Product Reviews and Security Tips. But sometimes I write about Ethical Hacking. Yes, I’m the one behind this blog. But my readers and commentators are my backbone, so I rather call it a team.

Q3: What are the present statistics for your blog, i.e. number of daily visitors, visitors geographical status etc.?

A3: I’m getting nearly 330 unique visitors daily and they are mostly from India, USA and UK. My Alexa Ranking is also improving day by day.

Q4: Is blogging for you just a passion or a medium for earning too? Does it help you to earn enough cash to quit a 9 to 5 day job?

A4: My Blog is my opinion and passion. ‘Blogging For Money’ concept is not interesting for me. But I’m monetizing it a bit for my domain and host! 😀

Q5: Who are your favorite bloggers, whom you read frequently?

A5: I’m reading many blogs frequently now-a-days. My favorite bloggers are many, but I like to mention some here. Arun Basil Lal from Million Clues, Harsh Agarwal from Shout Me Loud, Simrandeep Singh from Tricks Daddy, Gagan from Beep The Geek and Chetan Gole from The Chetan. I also like the bloggers in my Top Commentators List! 😛

Q6: From the secret bucket of your blogging experiences, what tips you would like to share with the fellow bloggers?

A6: My fellow bloggers are more experienced than me, so it is quite difficult to give them tips which is new to them, but I would like to give some advice like stuff, “Write For Your Readers and Not For The Search Engines” and “Sell Your Skills and Not Your Soul”.

Q7: Do you believe that blogging completes you? If yes, tell us how?

A7:  Yes. Blogging completes a blogger. Blogging increased my responsibility towards my blog and towards my beloved readers.

Q8: What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?

A8: My happiest moment was when I received an invite from Speak Bindas! 😀

Ok, that was one of the happiest moments and I didn’t face any gloomiest moment in life, I won’t allow such a moment to pass by! J

Q9: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?

A9: The destinations would be Rome, Athens, and Greece. I just love those places. I like Greeks and Romans mythology, though I’m an atheist. The destinations might change if I’m married or committed. Looking for a female blogger to marry! 😀

Q10: Are you into watching movies? If yes, which fills your list of favorite ones?

A10: I’m very much into. I love to watch all kind of movies. But horror, thriller and sci-fi are my favorite. My favorite movies are many, some of them are The Pursuit of Happiness, Se7en, Spy Game and all the movies based on computers and hacking. I wrote an article about it.

Q11: How has blogging helped you other than money?

A11: It helped me to increase my teaching skills. Now I can teach something which I knew perfectly. Blogging is the reason behind this. It changed my attitude indeed.

Q12: What would be the one thing you’d change about yourself?

A12: I chat with girls a lot online, but in person, I feel shy to talk with them! 😀

I want to change this. Hope it will be soon.

Q13: What is your deepest fear?

A13: Completing my B.E. Degree with good marks and at the same time, succeeding in blogging field.

Q14: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

A14: A girl. She is my online friend, but now we are no more. I would like to explain her some things in person, face to face. Hope this will happen.

Q15: Which is your favorite television show? Favorite songs?

A15: I love watching all the tech shows. Some include Gadget Guru, Cell Guru, Click and Byte It. I don’t watch serials, it is a time killer. My favorite songs are Vellai Pookal from Kannathil Muthamittal and Kadhal Siluvayil from Subramaniapuram.

Q16: How much money do you have in your purse/wallet right now (including change)?

A16: I don’t have the habit of using wallet dude! Really!

Q17: What is your favorite food? Any particular dislikes?

A17: I like everything which is tasty. I don’t dislike any food, everything is precious.

Q18: What’s your take on the technological advancement these days? Does it make people’s life simple or complicated?

A18: I think it makes life simple rather than complicated because technology is improved to make things simple and sensitive. It becomes complicated when people don’t know how to handle technology.

Q19: List out the 10 bloggers you believe should be interviewed by Speakbindas.com.

A19: My favorite bloggers I mentioned in Q5 and a blogger who blogs without the intention of earning money, it is hard to find indeed.

Q20: Any special message you would like to share with your blog readers as well with everyone else?

A20: Of course, to my beloved blog readers, commentators and subscribers. Buddies thanks for your contribution towards my blog. Every single comment is precious to me. I was very carefully in host switching, because I don’t want to lose any comment. If you are going to write an article or start a blog, please write with the intention of blogging and not for earning money. That helps a lot.
