Comment reply is a hot topic in the blogosphere: Ms. Freeman

Well here I am, Ms. Freeman of Freeman Legacy LLC –(http://www.freemanlegacyllc.com) and I am going to talk about myself. How utterly awkward is that? When I was approached to do this interview I was excited and unsure. But as process went along I started having fun with it. SpeakBindas take it away…

Interview

Q: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?

Ans.: I have been blogging for a short while now, since August 2009 actually. My motive for blogging is simply as a source of interaction with people all around the world that I would otherwise never come in contact with. The domain for my blog was initially a static site and was never intended to be two-way conversations. But since I installed WordPress I have enjoyed the conversation that take place on my blog-daily I have since been inspired by the many bloggers out that that are making money doing is as well.

Q: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?

Ans.: Freeman Legacy LLC is about the baby steps I am making to become and Internet Entrepreneur. On my blog I highlight my successes and failures and talk through my thought processes step by step which includes goal setting and motivation as well as provide some ideas on how to network and how to interact with the community we build online. The reason I talk through these process is because as I state in my About Me page I am not an expert. So I look forward to the comments from my readers where they add their advice which sometimes differs from mine and is helpful to my readers as well.

Q.: How important is it for the blogger to interact with their readers? Do you respond to all the comments that you receive?

Ans.: Comment reply is a hot topic in the blogosphere. Some feel they don’t need to bother while others comment sparingly, and then there are those that comment to everything. I for one respond to most if not all comments left on my blog. After all my readers have something to say and I am listening and responding, otherwise I may as well leave it as a static site. I believe in the Golden Rule and if I want folks to reply to my comments then I sure as heck better reply to the ones at home on my blog.

Q: Is blogging for you just a passion or a medium for earning too? Does it help you to earn enough cash to quit a 9 to 5 day job?

Ans.: Blogging for me has fast become some what of an addiction. I eat, sleep, and drink blogging. I wish I could afford to move away from the traditional 9-5, but for now I do both. It is a hope that someday perhaps blogging will provide income significant enough that I will be able to be self employed working remotely.

Q: Who are your favorite bloggers, whom you read frequently?

Ans.: My most favorite is Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income blog. He’s a guy that lost his job ix months before he was to get married. He made the decision to make a go at making money on line as opposed to returning to the mainstream 9-5. He is a six-figure blogger now!

Q: From the secret bucket of your blogging experiences, what tips you would like to share with the fellow bloggers?

Ans.: It not a secret, but a good tip would be to simply respect your readership. Reply to comments and don’t try to sell them everything under the sun.

Q: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?

Ans.: I would love to go to the French Riviera, Greek Isles and Fiji. These places just seem so exotic and extravagant to me. They are places that are very far outside of my financial scope-at the moment. I’m not sure who I would bring with me, but it would definitely be a fun group of family and friends.

Q: Are you into watching movies? If yes, which fills your list of favorite ones?

Ans.: My favorite movie is the Wizard of Oz. I am a very bog day dreamer and wonder everyday what is over the rainbow.

Q: What will you do without internet?

Ans.: I am totally lost without the internet. I would have to go back to actually reading a book no several books just to get information that I could get in a couple of clicks. That would not be go!

Q: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Ans.: I would love to me Dwayen “the Rock” Johnson!

Q: Which is your favorite television show? Favorite songs?

Ans.: LOST is my favorite show currently however it is in its last season.

Q: What is your favorite food? Any particular dislikes?

Ans.: My favorite food is all things Seafood!

Q: Any special message you would like to share with your blog readers as well with everyone else?

Ans.: Regardless of what your reason for blogging, just remember you should be having fun doing it. Other it is nothing more than just another job. And never lose sight of the “What Ifs” in life. That’s it thank you for taking the time to read about me and my blog. And a special thanks to you Devang for giving me the opportunity to interact with our audience.

Social Media Is the New Way of Internet Marketing

There has always been a tough competition in every line of business and the only way to beat the competitors is a strong and a fool proof marketing strategy. This has always been the case and will continue to be in the future too. This can be guaranteed with greater usage of the internet among the younger generation, but of late even people of all ages have learnt to use the internet. Internet Marketing has taken half of the print and electronic advertising business as it is cheaper and also delivers the message to a target audience rather the masses. Promotional Emails and SMS (short message service) have also been a very successful venture for the tweet adder internet marketing companies. The latest and the most current one is the social media marketing. It has turned to be a very lucrative marketing strategy. Social Media is nothing but a medium to connect with friends, colleagues and acquaintances on websites like Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. These days most people spend hours on these social networking websites and use it as a platform to share views and opinions about current affairs and their areas of interest.

Marketing Geniuses were quick to pounce on this as an opportunity to try new marketing strategies and this has paid rich dividends. Now, every corporate big or small have been marketing their products and services on these social networking websites. It has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for them. It is much cheaper than the advertising mediums and allows planning and strategizing on their target audience. There is no better way to build and strengthen your brand. If a Facebook or twitter user happens to like your product or service they would comment or like on Facebook and Retweets on Twitter which conveys the message to thousands of users in minutes. There are many social media marketing companies that utilize the most advanced and latest technology to advertise a product or service on the internet. It is bound to be noticed by most of the users and if they find it interesting, they just have to click on the link and will be taken to the company’s website.

This social media marketing strategy works and makes sense because most of the people don’t have the time to go shopping or walk into some of the stores for the products and services they need. Most of them first search it on the internet and do a thorough research before making a purchase or hiring a service. Life without Google is almost impossible and with Google+ creating a buzz, it is sure to drive more companies to use and invest in social media marketing.
