My name is Chetna Hareesh Kumar. I am 10 years old (though I don’t seem to be). I like dancing, reading and singin. I like composing songs and writing novels. At present I am working on my first novel. I was born on 3rd December, 1998 in Kerala.

My Interview – My Life

Q: Welcome to Speakbindas.com. Let’s start with your childhood. Where were you born and raised? Any fond memories from your childhood that you cherish even today?

Ans.: I have been raised as a very nice ‘baby girl’ kind of way. It has been a nice memory.

Q: As a child, you carried any special talent or art?

Ans.: Yes, I danced very well and also sang.

Q: What nickname/s you have/had so far?

Ans.: Um…uh…honey, molu, etc. There are a lot of them.

Q: What education you acquired? How was it in sense of troubles? Whether you could complete the same easy way or faced the financial issues? If yes, how you overcame the same?

Ans.: I…um am a child so I can’t say. But my plans are many. I want to take my PHD in Chemistry if I can and become an author.

Q: Who was/were your best friend/s during your school/high school times?  Are you still in touch with them?

Ans.: My best friends…Shivpriya, Shakthi, Anurati, Apoorva and if I start naming, I’ll never end. I can’t say about the second part of the question and I think you know why. But I’m quite sure that I will be in touch with all my friends forever.

Q: What was your favorite subject of study?

Ans.: Mine are Math, English, Chemistry and Physics.

Q: What was your favorite sport?

Ans.: Basketball, Hockey!

Q: Any teacher that you still remember as particularly influential?

Ans.: Mrs. Anjali, my favorite Math teacher, Mrs. Charlata Das, my favorite English teacher.

Q: Are you popular in your friend circle or say your community for some art /specialty/talent you have? If yes, tell us about it.

Ans. At least I think that I am popular for my talent of dancing.

Q: What does the word “family” mean to you? Who are in your family? Tell us about your family life.

Ans.: As a child, the word family means love and affection to me. It resembles happiness, and peace of mind. My family consists of mother and father. I’ve got no siblings.

Q: What is your definition of “happiness”?

Ans.: Happiness: where the world seems to be heaven with all angels. Basically, happiness to me means life.

Q: What is your most memorable travel experience?

Ans.: Journey from Kerala to Mumbai. We had lots of fun in the train. I strongly believe that train journey’s are a lot more fun than aircraft ones.

Q: If you were re-born as an animal, what would you want to be?

Ans.: A bird, a beautiful bird that can spread its wings and fly high above its little expectations.

Q: Do you think life in villages or small towns is more peaceful than in big cities?

Ans.: Of course, it is much more peaceful. One can easily make out.

Q: Do you believe in God? Do you believe in rebirth?

Ans.: I believe in God. I believe he is the one who has made us and always has an eye on us. Actually, I cannot say if I believe in rebirth.

Q: Are you happy with present system of education? What changes you aspire to see in it?

Ans.: Education…ah…you mean my school!

Q: What do you think about corruption amongst politicians/bureaucrats?

Ans.: No…I’m too young to answer that.

Q: What are your hobbies?

Ans.: Dancing, singing, painting and of course…reading!

Q: What do you read? In other words, are you into reading? If yes, share your favorite books.

Ans.: Oh yes…I just love reading! And for favorites, a mother cannot decide her favorite child. A gardener cannot decide his favorite flower. Similarly, I cannot decide my favorites in this case.

Q: What was the happiest moment of your life?

Ans.: Waiting for one!

Q: What was the gloomiest moment of your life?

Ans: I haven’t experienced that yet, and hope I won’t.

Q: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?

Ans.: Um…what about answering that after I’m, say ten years elder than I am.

Q: Are you into watching movies? If yes, which fills your list of favorites ones?

Ans.: Huh…I like watching movies but I’m not into them. Actually, they don’t really fill my favorites. Actually, I don’t think I can draw a line between favorites and non favorites.

Q: What are some words or phrases you use most?

Ans.: WAIT FOR ME TO EVEN START USING ONE PLEASE!

Q: What image about you, you want to create in other people’s mind?

Ans.: Caring, kind hearted, intelligent, brilliant author, nice dancer and so on.

Q: What would be the one thing you would change about yourself?

Ans.: My flat conversation!

Q: What is your deepest fear?

Ans.: Um…height and water. In other words, if I have to jump into water from 10,000 feet above from the ground!

Q: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Ans.: Aishwarya Rai.

Q: What’s your favorite food?

Ans.: I like anything Chinese, cooked corn, cheesy pizzas and all fruits.

Q: Any special message you would like to share with people you know as well everyone else? This question is question-less question. That means, if you have something inside you that you really wish to tell but couldn’t be covered in above questions, you can share it ALL here.

Ans.: Aha…that’s something I like! I would like to say that live your dreams, whatever it be, be who you are, however you are. That’s what my upcoming book says. Please read it when it comes in stores. The name will probably be PARADISE BLUE but I may change it. Please read the book written by Chetna Hareesh Kumar when you see it in stores. It will be coming sometime soon.
