At first the flowers look artificial when you grab them in your hand. They are mostly used in Indian wedding for decoration purposes. And they don’t carry any smell, so if you give it to someone saying it’s artificial, they would believe it easily.
The interesting thing about them is that, they can remain fresh for 4 to 5 days even after cutting them from plant.
They are on high demand during wedding season in India and are sold at around price of Rs. 5 to 10 per flower.
The greenhouse that I visited can produce around 800 to 1000 flowers every 3 to 4 days. It was a sight to watch. Beauty of flowers gave a great warmth to my heart.
The greehouse is located near my city Rajkot at around 15 kms. away.
