Ancient Reading Pad–Bhagwat Ni Ghodi

Ancient-Reading-Pad-3

In Gujarati it is called as “Bhagwat Ni Ghodi” which means like a stand to read Bhagwat (a Hindu scripture). As I didn’t find the exact word for it in English, I call it Ancient Reading Pad. Does it sound good? The book that you’re seeing on this pad is Mahabhart published in 1950. It’s in Gujarati language. The pad also is very old, may be 40 to 50 years old. I had it at my native place. I read few chapters from the book with this pad and it was really comfortable reading experience. Our ancestors were really wise. They had all such simple machines for their day-to-day need. I felt like being connected with the ancient time as I read few chapters of Mahabharat with this ancient pad.
