Swami Dharma Mahant is an Osho Sanyasi based in Russia. He became an Osho Sanyasi in the year 2003 when he was 33 years old. He loves India very much and has visited many parts of this beautiful country including my city Rajkot (Gujarat).
He loves surfing on internet to gain information and knowledge. And also runs a website and forum on Osho in Russia – Oshoworld.ru
This interaction was an effort to know more about his experiences and views being an Osho Sanyasi. His real name is Boris Martynov.

Q.: What inspired you to become an Osho Sanyasi?
Ans.: Namaste.
I have been reading Osho books for many years since I was 17. That’s the main reason how I know and love Osho and love India like Genuine Mystic School. I became an Osho sannyassi at Puna Meditation Resort when I was 33 years old in January 2003. Osho sannyass initiation is very powerful for way for self-realization, because Osho told many times about strait way to meditation experiences and freedom from any priests or guru trips.
If honestly I chose awareness and meditation life when joined to Osho sannyass celebration that’s enough.
Q.: When it comes to Osho, generally people have a belief (or say misbelief) that Osho communes, Osho Ashrams provide a platform to find sex partners and rather it is said that, they actually enjoy sex inside communes itself. This issue has been debated and discussed numerous times by numerous people around the world. After becoming an Osho sanyasi, what’s your frank say or real-life experience on this subject? Is it true? Is it false? Or it is the mixture of both?
Ans.: Sex experience is not that bad. If some friends wishing only sex, obviously they will find it somehow. But meditation life and free sex is very difficult to join together. Sooner or later friends who are searching for only sex must choose between awareness of life & meditations and sexual freedom. Exactly sex is not main point for spiritual life.
Q.: Osho has delivered his lectures almost on everything. What part of Osho attracts you and why?
Ans.: I like Osho lectures very much. Yesterday attracted lectures about Gautama Buddha; today I like Osho books about Shree Krishna and Indian mystics, tomorrow I don’t know… Each book and lecture nice in your time
Q.: What do you do for living?
Ans.: Difficult to say. I have high education like movie engineer but my job is small sales business. Exactly I do not do much like a job but rather spending lot of time on internet designs and photo sites.
Q.: Osho says “Life is all celebration. It exists here and now.” Have you been able to live upto this statement?
Ans.: I am.
Q.: What kind of meditations you follow in your daily life? Explain them in detail with their benefits for knowledge of others.
Ans.: My favorite meditation – Vipassana. From Osho techniques very like – No Dimensions (thanks for Sam Vado), Kundalini, Osho video darshans, this is a kind of meditations too. Sometimes I am making Dynamic meditation and others techniques, depending from what I am feeling at the moment. For me meditation techniques are not exactly straight rules which I only must to follow.
Q.: Which are your favorite Osho quotations?
Ans.: This quotation possible to read on the tower of ashram Osho Manan:
“I did not come to teach you I came to wake up you.”
Q.: What does spirituality mean to you?
Ans.: Nothing if it not real experience of life.
Q.: In this highly advanced technological era, we see that people are losing their peace of mind, getting frustrated and angry, not finding the true love or being cheated in relationships and what not. This is common among rich and poor people. What’s your take on this entire scenario?
Ans.: Technological era got people more advanced instruments than the society had before. You may use these instruments of technology in many ways. It may to make people happy and may unhappy. It’s depending not from instruments or technologies but only from intentions of people. How He (She) wish to use those technologies.
For example, I am an user of internet. So I am happy, because in immense information I have to choose from for what exactly I need.

Dear Swami Dharma Mahant, I felt the similar easyness, coolness in your answers that I find in other Osho Sanyasis. I mean that’s the charm that always attracts me towards them. Living life at ease inspite of this highly competitive world is a virtue I am learning from you.
I am indeed surprised to know (via email) that you have visited my place Rajkot. I feel sad knowing that we weren’t in touch at that time. But let’s hope that on your trip to India next, we would be able to meet. And if not, hopefully I will visit Russia sometime 🙂

Many friends from India came sometimes in our snow country and we are here happy for it. 🙂
In Gujarat never been snow season but in Moscow now – 20 degrees (below zero), and lot of whtie colors from good snow. Unfortunately we don’t have a mussons seasons. But summer time in Russia same like winter mounths in Rajkot city. Very very similar 🙂
